Four days to go until our TA on the QM2 from Southampton to NYC. We're in London now and have a car service picking us up at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday to take us to Southampton. This crossing is our first cruise with Cunard and only our second cruise in about 30 years. Our most recent cruise was a TA on Royal Caribbean from 4/21 to 5/5 from Ft. Lauderdale to Rome.

    Silver Wind Arctic Expedition : June 14th - 26th

Port Power posted a topic in Silversea,

I belatedly decided to post a live (although slightly delayed) blog in response to the many negative posts I have been reading about food and the general Silversea experience.

This cruise boarded in Reykjavik. It is also the last leg of the “Pole to Pole” journey. There are 14 passengers who have done the complete pole-to-pole.

    Good Morning from Southampton.

I have not done a live in a LONG time and figured it was time to do one.

We arrived in Southampton on Wednesday morning from Orlando and had a few days to adjust to the time difference.

Woke up this morning and it’s CRUISE day.

This is our second time on this beautiful ship so we know what to expect here at City Cruise terminal.

LIVE/Semi-Live/Post-Action Brilliance to Alaska via Vancouver

kcmo74 posted a topic in Royal Caribbean International,

Hello all, I’m writing this from the Windjammer aboard Brilliance as we await our departure from Vancouver this evening at 5pm. I can’t promise how live or even semi-live this will be as we only have Voom for 1 device and it’s going to mainly be my DW’s phone to keep in contact with our daughter back home.

Celebrity Retreat vs MSC Yacht Club: A Live Perspective

FamilyAtSea.travel posted a topic in Celebrity Cruises,

We're currently sailing in the Retreat on the Celebrity Equinox (day 8 of 9 total at the moment) and we sailed in the Yacht Club on both the MSC Seascape and MSC Seashore in March-April so both are still very recent experiences.

We cruise often for a young family (8 and 9 year old kids, sailing 6-8x/year), but for this cruise it is just my wife and I (thank you grandparents!).

  • Gotta Getaway - Semi Live From NCL Getaway - June 16th-25th

Spinelli1107 posted a topic in Norwegian Cruise Line,

    Hey Everyone!
First time trying my hand at a live report, wish me luck!

I'll start off with a brief introduction, the name's Brittany, I'm 35 (today's my birthday) and I'm getting away with my travel partner for life DH Chris. My first cruise was circa 1993/4 on the Song of America when I was a wee little girl. Since then, I've completed 20+ sailings, primarily in the Caribbean with a trip through the Panama Canal and a cool cruise to Alaska. My first (and favorite) NCL cruise was in 2014 on none other than the NCL Getaway.

    LIVE - Sometimes - Carnival Celebration 6/9 - 6/15

Host CMLA posted a topic in Carnival Cruise Lines,

Hello! My soon to be 16 year old son and I are cruising on the Carnival Celebration on June 9. I've never done a LIVE from thread because, quite honestly, I'm not a very exciting cruiser. I am not the cruiser that's researched everything. I don't get up early and participate in classes and demonstrations and go to shows. We rarely get off the ship in ports. I'm a gambler. I like to cruise and look at the water and have someone take care of me and I like to play slot machines. That's the cruiser I am. No spa treatments. I don't drink usually. I stay up late and I sleep in. It's not unusual for us to wake up and make it out of the room in time for lunch. Everybody cruises differently. That's how we cruise.

Hey everyone - I'm getting ready to board the Volendam on Saturday for a New England and Canada cruise. It's our second on Holland America. The first was on Zuiderdam on basically the same route last August. Here is alinkto that one. I've also been on five Royal Caribbean cruises as well.

I'm currently halfway to Boston from Heathrow and thought I would get started on this thread (as BA's inflight entertainment isn't that exciting).

Hi, thought I would give this a try.....it has been 7 years since my last cruise on Celebrity and since that time I have been on 2 river cruises and another 15 with Silversea. So this is definitely going to be different, but hopefully fun too.
I am in NJ staying at The Embassy Suites. Room is not ready yet so I walked to Ruby Tuesday's for some lunch. Tbe hotel has transport to pick you up at the airport and tomorrow they will take me to the ship for 22.00. No charge for the airport run.
The weather is beautiful today. Sunny and high 70s.
Anyway, if you have any questions I will try to answer them( to the best of my ability).

mil76 posted a topic in Royal Caribbean International,

I've always wanted to do a live report, so here goes. Cruising with the DW, aka the OG Flow Widow. We like cruising because we love to travel and cruising includes two of our favorite past-times: me flowriding, and her playing the slots. We were talking about doing the fjords this summer and wanted to use her annual casino Prime cruise for that, but then this 12-day Discover the Canaries popped up on the casino list during our Navigator cruise in February so we booked it, with the expectation we would do a B2B.

daydreamer62 posted a topic in Oceania Cruises,

As I'm a first time Oceania cruiser I thought I'd try my best to post a semi live report on our cruise on Vista which begins in Trieste next week . It is an 11 night cruise ending in Athens.
Before I start I think it's relatively important to give some background info on my and our situation which is a little different to most of the reports I've seen.

Firstly we are from New Zealand so European travel requires a very long plane trip (28 hours in our case via Dubai on Emirates.
