As many of you probably know by now, I left Wells Fargo mid-July after nearly 8 years. My years here at Wells Fargo has been a time of incredible professional and personal satisfaction. I am honored to have led the Enterprise Analytics and Data Science team and the AI Center of Excellence, and have treasured my partnerships with business functions, technology, and with various risk management and audit groups. As a group, we have built out leading-edge AI models and capabilities, stood up an industry leading Business Intelligence practice, done impactful analytics in areas like climate, developed metrics and OKRs, developed analytic and machine learning platforms, built out an amazing analytic enablement and support function, and brought together 10,000+ analytic professionals across the bank through internal conferences and a thriving community of practice. Analytics and Data has a very bright future at Wells, and the potential here definitely made this decision (to leave) very difficult for me. It has also been a place where I have had the fortune of working with some incredibly talented colleagues and made lifelong friendships. From the interns who make a meaningful impression during their short summer stints, to senior leaders and executives who have spent decades here at Wells, I have consistently found an ability and willingness to work together and bring one’s strengths to bear toward a team effort, and for that I have Wells Fargo’s culture to thank. For anyone considering a career here at Wells, the place has my ringing endorsem*nt. There is a culture here that values people development and growth, encourages employees to have a voice - which is difficult to find in institutions of this size. I am going to miss all my dear colleagues in EADS and DMI, and the analytic and technology community that I worked closely with. Many of you have reached out to me over the last month, and I thank you sincerely for all your best wishes and kind words. One consistent theme that has left me feeling very humble is your appreciation for my directness and clarity of direction. It has been deeply fulfilling to know that I was at least somewhat successful at one of the things I have aspired for myself, when I took on this role. Leaders (despite their stature) do not have control around every single thing that impact their organizations, but one thing they DO have control over is how authentically they themselves come across. That is something I will aspire to continue in the next chapter of my career. So then, what IS that next chapter going to be? I will share details about what I am planning to do next (and why) in a subsequent post. That update should be coming out in the next couple of weeks.I want to close with my best wishes for the prosperity and success for all the analytics and data practitioners at Wells Fargo, and remember that the company’s success relies on your success and contributions. #AnalystsRock And let’s stay in touch!

A decade and one completed ✅Today I celebrate ELEVEN whole years in Barclays UK which is wild 🤪Last year I created a video with some of my highlights over the last decade to celebrate, this year I’ve decided to share some of my learns 👀🔑 Find your purpose, what drives you, what gets you out of bed in the morning - if your role doesn’t align to this, find something in the business that does 👀🔑 Surround yourself the right people, the people that you aspire to be, those that will fill your cup without a question 🫶🏾🔑 The only person you need to overcome, is yourself.. challenge yourself, learn to be comfortable with moments of uncomfortability 📈🔑 There is no linear roadmap to defining your career, take every opportunity as an opportunity to learn or develop yourself 🤌🏾🔑 Your career path is your own and no one else’s - avoid comparing your success with others 🤷🏾♀️🔑 Enjoy the ride, we spend MOST of our life’s in the world of work and there is NOTHING I could think of worst than if you spend that time hating what you do.. 🙃🥲 and really it comes back to my first point, find your purpose, what drives you.. the rest will follow 🙏🏾

A Journey of Growth: From USPS to Real Estate and Back AgainReflecting on my career path, I’m reminded that growth often comes from unexpected detours. My journey began at USPS in 2014 as a PSE, where I learned the ropes of diligent service and leadership. By 2015, I had risen to the role of a career supervisor, but life had other plans in 2018, and I found myself stepping away to support my family during my husband Navy career transitions. This pause in my postal career wasn’t a full stop; it was a semicolon, marking a brief interlude before a significant continuation. The licenses in mortgages and real estate I acquired and the knowledge I gained during this period were not just about expanding my skill set—they were about expanding my perspective on service and leadership.Late 2022 marked my return to USPS, a comeback that was both familiar and new. Within months, I was detailed as a supervisor and then fully promoted, a testament to the enduring value of the experiences I had gathered along the way.Today, as I lead the Everett S&DC morning operation and champion the role of a WestPac Operational Excellence Ambassador, I carry with me the lessons from every part of my journey. It’s a role that fully supports USPS’s goal of continuous improvement, and I am a living example of that ethos. To those contemplating a pause in their career, remember: it’s not just a break; it’s an opportunity to grow, learn, and return even stronger. Your path may not be linear, but it will be uniquely yours, rich with experiences that only you can bring to the table.#CareerJourney #USPS #Leadership #ContinuousImprovement #ProfessionalGrowth

🤝 Corporate Sponsorship: A Catalyst for Change 🚀Corporate sponsorship is more than just financial support; it's a commitment to empower underrepresented talent. While I’ll always lift as I climb when I identify amazing colleagues, I keep a passion for speaking on behalf of corporate sponsorship in fostering diversity and inclusion. As we continue to strive for equitable and representative workplaces, let's focus on uplifting African American women.By sponsoring African American women, we:1️⃣ Break Barriers: Open doors to leadership roles and opportunities they deserve.2️⃣ Cultivate Talent: Nurture diverse perspectives, fostering innovation and creativity.3️⃣ Drive Change: Promote an inclusive workplace that reflects the richness of our society.#DiversityandInclusion #CorporateSponsorship #EmpowerWomen #InclusiveWorkplaces #AfricanAmericanLeadership #leadershipcoaching #leadershipdevelopment

Congratulate me, I changed jobs! Now I have been working at Raiffeisenbank for about 4 monthsWhy didn’t I write right away, but am writing now?I have two reasons why I didn’t talk about the job change earlier:First reason: I never talk about changing jobs before the probationary period expires. I had a situation where I left for a new company and told all my friends about it. And as you guessed, I left the new company very quickly, after 2 months .Now I don't make that mistake. The second reason. I accepted the offer with a downgrade. Funny situation. In my job offer there was a description of “position - systems analyst.” I thought, “Okay. The position meets my expectations."But after 1.5 months, I accidentally saw that the company had the position “Senior Systems Analyst”, and my position was “Middle Systems Analyst”. I was depressed and disappointed. I didn’t even think that I could get an offer for a non-senior position, since in my last three jobs I had the position of “Senior Systems Analyst”. I'm not saying I have to be a Senior Specialist! No! I just didn’t think or clarify my position. It was stupid. In the end, the story had a good ending. I have requested a re-evaluation of the position and have been successful in requesting it. A week ago I received a job upgrade. From this experience I drew two conclusions:1. It is important to carefully study a job offer to avoid disappointments and surprises in the future.2. If you find a discrepancy between expectations and reality, do not hesitate to act and promote your interests.I'm glad to share this experience with you and hope that my observations will be useful!
