The plot twists are inexistant. The "gore" or "shocking" is inexistant (beside a couple shots of hairy butts and fake penis props. Jena Malone is annoying as poorly directed - at one moment some hard core drug lord, the next one an empathetic protector arguing with a less than scary and rather pathetic "boss". We don't explore the yet promising story of "hallucinogenic bugs" which was by far the most interesting plot that this movie wrote in, and toss it aside to revert to some half hearted revenge with a tweezer. Verdict: watchable while completing household duties like ironing or doing taxes.
